The school wanted to knock two areas into one open-plan classroom, but the dado trunking ran along the wall being opened up. We stripped out the existing trunking and circuits, then reinstalled them along the back wall, keeping sockets and data where staff needed them. Work was completed during the school holidays, ready for the new term.

As part of the client’s move to new London offices, we removed their interactive media screen from the old premises, transported it and installed it in the new meeting room. We mounted the screen, installed and set up the video conferencing equipment, and added a new socket to power it, so the room was ready to take meetings from day one.
Hospitality · Hotel · Bristol
The hotel wanted to cut ongoing maintenance costs from failing dimmers, so we replaced the dimmer switches in all 115 guest rooms with premium toggle switches. The new switches match the hotel’s high-end interiors. The work was scheduled room by room around bookings, so the hotel kept trading throughout.

A high-end apartment development needed a complete structured cabling system. We installed the basket containment, floor-standing data cabinet, ran and dressed the cabling, and terminated phone lines, network points and wireless access point locations throughout the building into labelled patch panels. Each run was tested on completion, ready for the client’s IT team to install and commission the network hardware.

As part of the hotel’s refurbishment, we upgraded the lighting in the reception and communal areas to LED. The work included new LED downlights, picture lights over the reception display and concealed LED strip lighting to the reception desk. The result is a warm, welcoming entrance, with lower running costs and less maintenance than the old fittings.

When the hotel’s existing boilers failed, three new gas boilers were installed at short notice, and the plant room controls needed upgrading to match. We rewired and upgraded the control panel to run the new boilers and associated plant, then tested and commissioned it alongside the heating engineers. The manufacturer’s manual was left in the panel for future maintenance.

A repurposed farm needed a complete electrical distribution system serving three separate dwellings. At the origin we installed a three-phase distribution panel with surge protection, feeding a local three-phase board and individually metered supplies to each property. In the main barn conversion we fitted a three-phase consumer unit with surge protection, alongside dedicated enclosures for the smart lighting control system, all linked with trunking for a clean layout that’s easy to maintain and extend.
